Responsibilities

As a member of the PacificWest Home Care team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create Happier Aging experiences and provide client-focused care in home and community settings.

  • Deliver on our Brand Promise by ensuring peace of mind for our clients and their families.

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including healthy meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, and transportation.

  • Maintain safety standards by using equipment safely and accurately.

  • Provide a premium care approach to clients and their family members.

  • Engage in open communication with your Care Designer to enhance the client’s experience and care.

  • Update availability and time-off requests as needed to ensure continuity of care for your clients.

Skills & Experience

To join our team, you should possess:

  • Two positive professional references.

  • A background check or criminal record check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every 5 years for continued employment).

  • A negative TB test (updated every 5 years for continued employment).

  • Proof of health care certification.

  • The ability to travel independently to client visits.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, at a high school graduate level.
